General Laborer

Strange’s is seeking a full time General Labor team member for the Mechanicsville location.

The General Laborer is primarily responsible for leading the processing and distribution of fresh cut flowers, glassware, and assorted floral department supplies. The General Laborer also maintains an organized warehouse/delivery layout and to ensure the safety, cleanliness and order of the warehouse/delivery department.

Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday 8 AM – 5 PM

All applicants must have a valid drivers license and +points on driving record. Prior forklift operation preferred.

Below are the primary responsibilities of the General Labor team member with assigned percentage of time spent each week on a certain task.

• (30%) Unloads, cuts and processes fresh flowers for distribution
• (20%) Completes general landscape maintenance to include cutting grass, weed eating, and updating garden beds
• (15%) Completes various preparation and inventory duties (I.e. cleans flower buckets and organizes floral coolers)
• (10%) Transports supplies and florals between both retail stores
• (10%) Cleans and maintains work area to ensure warehouse/delivery department safety
• (5%) Organizes materials with a forklift or pallet jack on shelves, racks and bins according to warehouse layout
• (5%) Assists in delivering floral arrangements when needed
• (5%) Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Delivery Department Team Lead

The Delivery Team Lead oversees and executes the delivery of goods to customers by coaching and leading a team of delivery drivers.
