Coupons and Promotions

Any and all coupons and promotions are valid for one customer and one order and can not be combined with any other coupon or promotion. Strange’s reserves the right to cancel or change any coupon or promotion at any time based upon product availability.


 

Billing

The personal contact and billing information, including your address and phone number, is used to process the order you have placed with us. This data is not shared or sold to third parties.


 

Flower Delivery

We only deliver to funeral homes on Sundays. No orders can be placed for Sunday delivery outside our Metro-Richmond, Virginia area. View our complete delivery policy (opens in new tab).


 

Out-of-Town Delivery

Prices for flowers outside Richmond are controlled by the filling florist and may be higher in some areas. Where the cost of living is higher, the flower prices are likely to be higher. For deliveries outside the Continental U.S., an Interflora fee of $12.00 is charged.


 

Substitution Policy

The floral designs and plants that are shown on our web site are normally available for the period they are offered. A particular flower variety and/or color may not be available on a short term basis. If a specific flower or plant is not available on the day of delivery a reasonable substitution may be needed to complete your request. We will substitute only when needed and fill your request as close as possible to the item, or items, you have selected.

All efforts are made to create your selection as close to the image as possible. In cases where substitutions are necessary Strange’s reserves the right to replace the content or colors with best available substitutions or equal or higher value.


 

Special Instructions

Please make a note in special instructions if you do not want to allow any substitutions. Please tell us if you want to delay or cancel the order if we are unable to contact you on the day of delivery to discuss an alternative. Example: No substitutions, contact or delay!


 

Return/Replacement Policy

We appreciate your business and want to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase.
Outlined below are the return policies for each product type.

Any refunds or replacements must accompany a receipt
as well as the original product.

At the first sign of any issues with your plants or products contact us right away at www.stranges.com/contact-us with a photo(s) and detailed description so we can help you through any problem(s) you may be experiencing.

Trees & Shrubs
Trees and shrubs may be returned for a full refund 5 days from purchase if the plant is not damaged and in excellent health. If a tree or shrub fails to thrive the first year from date of purchase, we will offer a one-time replacement of the same plant variety and size at no additional charge. If that exact plant is not available at the time of the return, a comparable substitute will be offered.

Please note: Eligible trees and shrubs that are grown in locations other than “in ground,” such as plants that are in containers, are not eligible for the one-time replacement.

Perennials
Perennials may be returned for a full refund 5 days from purchase if the plant is not damaged and in excellent health. For Perennials purchased after March 1st , we will offer a one-time replacement of the same plant variety and size at no additional charge until November 30th of the same calendar year. If that exact plant is not available at the time of the return, a comparable substitute will be offered. Perennials purchased between December 1st and February 29th are not eligible for return.

Please note: Eligible perennials that are grown in locations other than “in ground,” such as plants that are in containers, are not eligible for the one-time replacement.

Annuals, houseplants, hanging baskets, citrus plants, and herbs
Annuals, houseplants, hanging baskets, citrus plants, and herbs may be returned for a full refund 5 days from purchase if the plant is not damaged and in excellent health. These products are not eligible for refund beyond 5 days from purchase.

Specialty Container gardens
Specialty container gardens are non-refundable.

Non-perishable product and Christmas Product
Non-perishable product (i.e. pots/containers, artificial flowers, garden tools, etc.) and Christmas product may be returned for a full refund 14 days from purchase if the item is not damaged and in original packaging. No Christmas items will be approved for return past the 18th of December. A restocking fee of 25% of the retail price of the tree will be applied to artificial tree returns. These products are not eligible for return beyond 14 days from purchase.

Floral Arrangements
Floral arrangements are considered for full refund or replacement on a case-by-case basis. A refund or replacement is only issued if the original arrangement is returned. Please contact 804-321-2200 for more guidance on floral arrangement returns or replacements.

Products marked “Item Not Guaranteed” or “Final Sale”
Any products labeled “item not guaranteed” or “final sale” at time of purchase are not eligible for return or exchange.

Strange’s reserves the right to
• refuse returns or exchanges if any of the above standards are not met.
• update or modify this return policy at any time without prior notice.
• not accept a return lacking proof of purchase
