Our wholesale greenhouses on Creighton Road in Mechanicsville, VA is hiring seasonal team members for the months of August through December.

This opportunity is great for those individuals seeking experience in plant maintenance, greenhouse operations, and horticulture best practices. No prior greenhouse experience required.

Scheduling: 3-4 days a week (must include 1 weekend day) flexible shift start or end times. APPLICANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK AUG – DEC

Starting Pay rate offered : minimum wage – opportunity to join our team part time or full time in January 2026

• Watering plants
• Pulling plants to fulfill orders

Greenhouse Delivery Driver

Hours:  40 hours per week
Location:  4201 Creighton Road Richmond VA 23223

Strange’s at Creighton Road is seeking a seasonal Delivery Driver for the fall and winter seasons.

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the delivery of plants to multiple locations throughout Richmond using a box truck.

Schedule: 40 hours per week   (Mon-Fri 8-5 PM)

Applicants must be able to provide a valid drivers license and have +points driving record.

Experience driving a box truck and standard rated forklift preferred.

• Maintains cleanliness of delivery vehicle (box truck)
• Communicates with management on the status of all deliveries
• Completes routes and deliveries promptly
• Loads and unloads delivery vehicles in a timely manner
• Keeps the work space (warehouse) clean and organized
• Checks delivery vehicle daily to ensure safe transportation
• Completes daily tasks assigned by management (i.e. pulling plants for delivery orders, etc.)

Customer Account Specialist

Strange’s is seeking a Customer Account Specialist to act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding account payments, statement questions, and general customer service. This role ensures customers receive timely, accurate information regarding their accounts while also handling general inquiries, order support, and payment coordination. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable balancing administrative financial tasks with direct customer interaction.

This role is temporary with the opportunity to become permanent in January 2026.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Answer inbound calls regarding customer account inquiries, including billing questions, payment status, and account updates.

• Generate and distribute account statements, payment reminders, and follow-up communications in a professional and courteous manner.

• Assist with collections of past-due accounts by contacting customers and documenting interactions.

• Maintain accurate customer account records in company systems.

• Collaborate with various teams to ensure account accuracy and resolve issues quickly.

• Support other administrative or clerical duties as assigned.
