WEEDS BE GONE!!!

If it was only as simple as commanding all the weeds to leave your yard…but it’s not. Fortunately Strange’s has several solutions to your weed issues.

First off, there are broadleaf weeds and grassy weeds.  The broadleaf weeds are weeds that do not look like grass.  Most broadleaf weeds can be killed off with a liquid or granular weed killer, such as ferti-lome Weed Out + Q.  This weed killer will kill over 200 different weeds. Usually one or two applications is all you need to become weed-free.

Then there are grassy weeds, which look like grass (but not the kind you want to grow in your lawn). Grassy weeds are a little more complicated. One particular product might kill one kind of grassy weed, but not another. Your best option in this case is to bring us a sample or a good photo of your problem and we can help you figure it out.

If you prefer to kill weeds the organic way, Strange’s does carry organic weed control, but there is a drawback. Post emergent organic weed controls are not selective, meaning they will likely kill or damage whatever you put them on. If you want to be truly organic, your best option is to get down on your hands and knees and start pulling!
