Strange's Garden Center is hosting a dog friendly event with contests, demonstrations and raffles for terrific prizes. Join us and Kat Simons from Lite 98 in celebrating our fabulous community and local dog organizations. Don't forget to bring your furry friends along, on a leash please.

All raffle proceeds will benefit Dogs for Veterans, a non-profit organization that saves dogs from shelters that would otherwise be euthanized, and trains them to be service dogs for disabled veterans. Richmond Animal League (RAL)will also be on hand with dogs available for adoption. RAL is the area's oldest non-profit "no-kill" organization committed to reducing the homeless pet population in the Richmond area. RAL provides temporary housing, medical treatment, sterilization, and quality care to over 800 companion animals each year until they are adopted into permanent and loving homes.

Other participants include: Fetch a Cure, Kaizen Pet Training and Behavior, Caring Canines Therapy Dogs , Guiding Eyes for the Blind, American Red Cross Pet Safety, K9 Alert Search and Rescue, Quioccasin Veterinary Hospital , and more!
