Notes for 'Calibrachoa Superbells Apricot Punch'

A few tips with Calibrachoa would be as follows: It does best in containers with the free-draining, soil-less media. However, if you're dead set on planting it in-ground, I would either plant it in a raised bed, or amend the clayey soil with Perma-Til. It also benefits from having a light pruning at planting and another in July/August, it promotes branching and keeps the plant looking full. Feed with Strange's "Two-Step" (Osmocote/Rooting & Blooming) and keep the pH around neutral. If your Calibrachoa starts turning a bit yellow I would assess the soil drainage first, then look to macro-nutrient deficiencies (lack of fertilizer, NPK). If all looks normal, foliar feed with Chelated Iron, because the yellowing could be caused by a pH "lock-out" of the micro-nutrient Iron, which helps with keeping the leaves green.
